I would like to be kept up to date on Stanton fishing club and help out when I can with the up keep of the ponds

Dear Sirs,
After many years of being unable to fish due to work commitments, I’ve decided to make some quality time for ME!
I was told that the Stanton Fishing Club was a good local place so I had a walk around the ponds and waters to see if it was for me. I absolutely cannot wait. I’ll be organising my membership in the next few days and look forward to some relaxing days by the water. However, during my exploration of your waters I couldn’t believe the litter and debris left behind. Beer cans, fishing line, cigarette packets etc. At one of the ponds there was a litter bin with more litter all over the floor than in the bin.
You have stunning looking waters and this attitude by some of the members who obviously feel it is ok to leave the place looking like a tip is in my opinion not acceptable. I’m sure it will be just one or two members who spoil it for others but I think it needs addressing.
I’m not even a member yet so please don’t feel I am moaning unduly. You really do have some lovely waters but it annoys me to see it being spoilt like this.
