Roughs and Privates ponds are both closed on Sunday 23rd for club fishing match. Pleasure fishing is allowed after 4pm.

STANTON WINTER LEAGUE 2022/23

£20 to Enter – £15 per match                                            Draw 8.15am; Fish 10am till 3pm

Pay out on day:

1^st in 5 peg section – £50; plus extra £20 for overall winner on day

League Payout based on full turnout on all matches

1^st £300, 2^nd £250, 3^rd £200, 4^th £150, 5^th £100, 6^th £90, 7^th £80, 8^th £70, 9^th £60, 10^th £50

Biggest individual match weight of the League – £50

League winner is decided on points, your best 5 match results count.  If there is a draw, finishing places will be decided on overall weight.

If you’re unable to attend a match you are allowed one stand in only.

All competitors will fish Roughs pond and Privates pond once. i.e. if you draw Canal on November 13^th you will be fishing on the Roughs Pond February 5^th.

The Club is holding our Annual Open Day on the Saturday  27th of August.

Junior Fishing Match – Free to enter, this will be held on the Canal.  The Draw is 8.30am: fish 10am until 2pm.  Contact Adrian Knighton on 07835 306533 to enter. All entrants get a prize.

Bring a Friend Fishing – If you are a Stanton member you can bring a none member fishing for the day on 27th August only.

There will be a BBQ, a stall selling second hand fishing tackle and Armstrong Aviation will be selling Stanton branded clothing.
