The Club runs matches throughout the year both on our own waters and local commercial waters and we are always looking for new faces to join this friendly club. The Future Looks Bright
The committee would like to thank all members for their continued support of the club. When so many clubs are on the decline our membership has increased every year for the past 7 years. It’s because of this fantastic support that we are able to give free membership to our junior members.
Work Parties
The committee needs help with the upkeep of the club. Please keep an eye out on Facebook and the club’s notice boards to see when the next work party is – any help is very welcome.
The next work party is planned for Saturday 22nd February 2020 – 9am until 12pm.
Stocking
We have yet again stocked our waters for the 7th year in a row. We have stocked over 10,000 fish into Roughs, Privates and the Canal with Roach, Bream, Carp, Tench and Barbel – ENJOY!
Junior Match
Because of the fantastic support from the junior members we will be holding a junior match in the summer holidays free of charge – if you have any tackle or bait that you no longer need this would be a fantastic time to donate to the junior members of the club. Date TBC.
AGM Date
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AT THE DEW DROP INN, ILKESTON
Monday 15th February 2021 – 7.30pm start, all members welcome
Resolutions for the A.G.M. must be submitted in writing before the A.G.M.
Any member wishing to join the Stanton fishing club committee must submit their application in writing one month before the A.G.M. or at the last committee meeting before the A.G.M
