1st.  C Radford – 81lb

2nd.  J Gaetto – 78lb

3rd.  A Logan – 74lb

The lake fished very well yet again, with all anglers catching with many different tactics.  Finishing in top spot was Craig Radford, fishing the short pole and feeder.  John Gaetto finished 2nd, using feeder tight over to the island.  Third place went to Adam Logan who fished the long pole and paste short.  Sue Reid came in fourth, fishing pole short and margin.

1st.  D Perry – 50lb

2nd.  C Logan – 46lb

3rd.  J Lowe – 38lb

Dave Perry drew the winning peg from the previous week and took full advantage.  He caught Carp steady throughout the match.  In second place was Craig Logan, making a welcome return from his previous week’s absence.  Craig fished hard pellet tight over, catching small Carp.  John Lowe was third and fished worm over pellet.

Reef:

1st.  A Bloor – 54 lb

2nd.  A Knighton – 53 lb

3rd.  D Farrell – 51 lb

Oasis:

1st.  G Holmes – 25 lb

2nd.  A Logan – 20 lb

3rd.  D Perry – 13 lb

This was a match of opposites.  Reef pond fished really well with some good weights being recorded throughout.  Whereas anglers on Oasis really struggled, with some blanking.  It’s great to see some new names on the top 3 list – there were some great performances this week.

1st.  D Moore – 168 lbs

2nd.  J Lowe – 78 lbs

3rd.  C Radford – 62lbs

4th.  D Gaetto – 61 lbs

This was the first official match of the Summer season.  Finishing in 1st place was the newcomer to the club, with an outstanding weight.  Dean fished shallow at 14m from the off, and caught straight away.  Second place was John Lowe, AKA The Treble.  John fished tight over and again caught steady throughout the day.  Craig Radford found his form again, finishing in the top three, which I’m sure is a relief to everyone as we were all worried…

1st.  J Leivers – 37lb 13ox

2nd.  A Knighton – 35lb 9oz

3rd.  John the Bailiff – 29lb 6oz

4th.  C Logan – 28lb 11oz

Jonathan Leivers came into this match full of confidence having secured the 2016 Caravan Club Championship the previous week.  He drew fancied peg 28, and made no mistakes by catching from the off down the margin.  Adie showed there is still life in the old dog and fished a great match to finish 2nd.

3rd.  D Gaetto – 42lb

This was a great match with most anglers catching.  All eyes were on the draw to see who would draw the flyer – peg 40.  Jonathan Leivers was overjoyed when he picked it out of the bag and made the most of it by catching big carp to double figures.  Craig Logan made a comeback after his absence last week, showing his brother in the next peg how it’s done.  Danny Gaetto came third catching mainly carp.

1st.  P Wilcox – 22lb 15oz

2nd.  C Radford – 21lb 12oz

3rd.  P Wells – 21lb 6oz

4th.  J Lowe – 21lb 1oz

This was an extremely hard going match, with all anglers struggling for bites.  However, the top spot was open this week as the club favourite was absent.  Taking full advantage of this was Phil Wilcox with a well deserved win.  Craig Radford fell short, yet again, coming second.  Close behind him was Paul Wells

3rd.  Craig Radford – 44lb 8oz

4th.  Danny Gaetto – 44lb 5oz

At last the fishing was good this week, with good weights for everyone.  Showing his class for the second week running was everybody’s favourite Craig Logan.  Second by just one ounce was John Lowe – aka The Treble.  Third was a disappointed Craig Radford, who continues to trail behind club star Craig Logan.  In fourth place was Danny Gaetto, who is struggling to place in the top three.  He’s sure to get there one day, with practice.  Don’t give up Danny!

This was a very tightly contested match, with only 3lb separating the top five.  Finishing in first place was Craig Logan – showing his class he fished a magnificent match.  A very disappointed Craig Radford came in second, after struggling to keep up with the winner.  Third went to a consistent Dave Harris, who sussed it in the last hour but it was just too late.  He narrowly beat Sue Reid by just 1oz, who again fished a great match.

2nd.  D Harris – 22lbs

3rd.  P Wells – 16lb

This was another extremely hard going match, on a new venue, with a large number of anglers not weighing in.  Finishing in first place, with a great performance, was Sue Reid.  Sue caught on the short pole, changing her tactics throughout the day to keep the Carp biting.  Second place went to Dave Harris, with third place going to Paul Wells who drew yet another flyer!!!
